Patrick Blain is a dancer, teacher, and choreographer based in Toronto, Canada. Patrick brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the world of dance. Holding a BFA from The Juilliard School in New York City, Patrick's journey as a Cecchetti ballet dancer and a certified American Ballet Theatre teacher has been marked by a dedication to excellence. His training extends across renowned institutions such as The National Ballet of Canada, Ellison Ballet, Alonzo King LINES, and Jacob’s Pillow, showcasing his commitment to continuous artistic development. As a former company member with Les Ballets Jazz de Montreal and a performer at the iconic Le Moulin Rouge in Paris, France, Patrick has graced prestigious stages around the world.
Collaborating with distinguished choreographers like Aszure Barton, Alonzo King, Austin McCormick, and others, Patrick has honed his craft with a diverse range of influences. Notably, his choreographic prowess has been showcased in Juilliard’s Choreographic Honours performances, where multiple works have left a lasting impression. Patrick is fuelled by a passion for education, aspiring to empower young dancers to reach their full potential.
